June 2.

SYGP:

Partial sell on the opening

SHOP:
Sold the premarket gap to 32:

This one is still in play look for it coming out of that hourly base.

FIT:   I think a lot of people went into FIT yesterday in hopes of a gap.  I was prepared to sell into a gap had that happened.   Yet there was a quick sell off about 45 mins before the open and FIT came bouncing back.  I knew that would be a good sign as the dip shook some of the weaker hands out so this trade became less crowded.  I decided to get out going into 44. I figured the handle would be some resistance and I would rather sell into the handle before the test as if the resistance held this could have dropped quickly and I would be chasing a bid.

It did briefly get over 44 and when that happens there is a quick rush and then a fade.   That is exactly what happened and FIT could not regain the strength after the gates opened at 44.

This is still one to watch... First level I would consider is 40 then the gap in the 37.5-38 range.   This is still crowded and it needs to punish a some of the "easy money" traders.

EHIC:
Opened 14.28   Back to this one after being stopped out on Monday.  Several bounces off the $14 handle. Hedge funds increasing positions (with lock out until fall)

June 22 trades and position summary

FEYE: This was a fantastic run from the breakout point but the channel broke.
Entry $44.85
Exit $51.77

Big picture: Still likely "in play" wait for 2 weeks of rest--  would not be surprised for a '10 test.

CORT:
Entry 7.19
Exit 1/3 7.37  I came in a little heavy on the range expansion move so I cut the position into the run.

RXDX: This one was not fun.

Entry: 17.19
Entry 2: 16.69
Exit: 16.16
Exit 2: 15.98

Later in the day, this move became clear that it was a back test to the '4 week. when that held, I re-bought
Entry: 16.33

SEDG: Since I sold the pop last Friday, I have room to take a shot if the 4 holds.
Entry: 39.29

VTAE: Nice move last week to breakout on the weekly. Look to hold the line on the close.
Entry: 16.73

Current positions:
SSNI: star of the day

ZIOP, fought off a downgrade and $10pt to close at the high.

EHIC: Just keeps narrowing the range-- should be good to store up some power-- needs a close above the zone.
BZUN: still range bound
DWRE:  held the breakout, positive action here.
EBIX: Did I nail the dip buy off the '10 - yet to be determined has held thus far.
HZNP:
After chopping the weak breakout players to bits over the last 2 days.  should be ready to go.

June 11, What a difference a day makes.

Yesterday was a frustrating day as my dip buys in EHIC were under water and I had two stocks -- FRSH, FOLD announce secondaries.  And I was down slightly despite huge pops in the average.  It's no fun seeing everyone else's train take off and your stuck at the station.   What a difference a day makes.

Today turned out to be a monster day despite some pre-market storm clouds.

I kept my head in FRSH and FOLD and did not panic as they opened lower.  Both rallied from the opening. (I did sell out a bit of FOLD @12.72.)

FRSH opened down 17.70 but then rallied.  Pocked pivot on the weekly,  I prefer the clean break but the RSI is high enough and it's close enough to cheat on the break point.

It's ability to bounce back proved its worth.  And the weekly breakout looks very much intact.

Speaking of bounce backs.   This one could be a monster.

On the downside, I got stopped out of HDP as it just could not get going.  Still no >27 close.
Entry: 27.28
Exit: 26.04

PBMD:
Just couldn't get going over past few days.  I have no interest in waiting... and the news today was just embarrassingly lame for this stock.. They got a tax credit in France.  That was worth selling this company in itself.
Entry  2.16
Exit. 2.08

INUV: This is why I buy timid breakouts.  Many times they might trigger my alert on low volume.  But  they can still get going in a fierce way later in the day.  INUV ripped from this point hitting a high of 3.22.   With the high close taken out, there should be more to come.

Entry: 2.83

MBLY: Another one firing on all cylinders.  I do love the second run on IPOs.

Entry: 49.46.   I should have been in this $1.00 earlier  but With a weekly breakout you don't have to be as precise to make $.  This one has shown what it could do right out of the gate as an IPO.  Now for a re-rerun.
KITE:
I added to my July 65 calls  position as there was another bounce off the breakout point.  But still no upward thrust.   Tomorrow?

Finally, I'd be remiss if  I didn't post TROV ---fantastic second breakout.

June 9, Dip buying.

I was not seeing a lot of surge on the momo names today.  My best performing stocks held around even FOLD, TROV, FEYE,  JD,

On days like today, I prefer to buy pull backs in stocks that have shown power rather than to take mediocre breakouts.  The strong survive and are the first to bounce back.

Added a bit to my EHIC position 16.11
It got a nice pop off lows, now to push the highs again.

I'm able to add on these pull backs because I took a larger position into the initial breakout, so I'm playing with house money as I've bought back a number of shares below what I sold.

PBMD:
Entry 2.16
Holding that 4 week avg.  This presents a good risk to reward  point here.

Was not able to take out hourly highs, lots of shadows at that 3.35 level.

KITE: Kite had a powerful more to end last week.  CaRT stocks have been surging (notwithstanding today)  I think its appropriate to take a shot at buying weakness here.

Jul 17, 65 calls @3.20

LIFE:
Entry: 22.43,  (Small).  In for my third run at LIFE.   Wide spreads are the norm with this one.  It was punished today on weak volume considering the size of the move.  I'll take a bite here.   Stop is 22 on a weekly close at this point but I'll expect a bumpy ride for the remainder of the week.
