June 22 trades and position summary

FEYE: This was a fantastic run from the breakout point but the channel broke.
Entry $44.85
Exit $51.77

Big picture: Still likely "in play" wait for 2 weeks of rest--  would not be surprised for a '10 test.

CORT:
Entry 7.19
Exit 1/3 7.37  I came in a little heavy on the range expansion move so I cut the position into the run.

RXDX: This one was not fun.

Entry: 17.19
Entry 2: 16.69
Exit: 16.16
Exit 2: 15.98

Later in the day, this move became clear that it was a back test to the '4 week. when that held, I re-bought
Entry: 16.33

SEDG: Since I sold the pop last Friday, I have room to take a shot if the 4 holds.
Entry: 39.29

VTAE: Nice move last week to breakout on the weekly. Look to hold the line on the close.
Entry: 16.73

Current positions:
SSNI: star of the day

ZIOP, fought off a downgrade and $10pt to close at the high.

EHIC: Just keeps narrowing the range-- should be good to store up some power-- needs a close above the zone.
BZUN: still range bound
DWRE:  held the breakout, positive action here.
EBIX: Did I nail the dip buy off the '10 - yet to be determined has held thus far.
HZNP:
After chopping the weak breakout players to bits over the last 2 days.  should be ready to go.

June 1,

I had a good May (+5%) and am looking to build on that  as June begins. However, some caution is now in order as there are now 20 stocks up  greater than +50% in a month.  I took to reducing position size on trades and exiting some positions.

VIMC.  Right of the bat a Gap. I generally view that as a sell signal for me.  Although this ran quite a bit after I sold it then reversed and faded hard. Anyway this was worth about .80 on average for my position. No complaints.

Entry: 1 14.99
Entry 2.  14.59
Exit 1. 15.40
Exit 2. 15.61

ONTY:
Gapped on positive breast cancer data.   This was a chart That I had like this weekend as this would fishhook on a daily. In addition, the monthly has staged a high volume breakout out

This stock is capable of some power.

Entry 1: 4.38
Entry 2: 3.84
Entry 3 3.99
(Avg. $4.09.)

I'm comfortable with my position.  Although the opening bar sank, ONTY stabilized around 4.00 for most of the day.   I took piece in A.H. as this is the type of stock action that precedes a gap. I'll roll some of my position out at that time.   As the opening 15 mins are most dangerous for stops.

SSNI: Nice little trade +13%
entry: 12.00
Exit: 13.59

HDP:  I feel like I bought this one too early (although My trade is essentially a carry over from the breakout of congestion at 25.)     I had my eye on that 27 level and with another failure and without 2 rest weeks caution is in order so I'll exit.

Entry: 26.53
Exit.  26.80
Exit 26.70.  This was a "protect equity close"

BOOT:
Despite my cautious stance right now, some moves are too powerful to ignore.

Entry: 26.68

Current positions -- weekend update

SSNI:
This one broke out very nicely.  I'll run it until it gaps.

EBIX: I bought the weekly breakout and we have a continuation week this week.  This one has had a history of some continuation moves.  I like the look of W2.

TROV:
I hit the breakout pretty well at 9.4. With a close at all time weekly highs and volume being strong I like this one for higher prices.  I'm watching the 10.27 level as being a key holding spot.  If we get that back test and a hold.  I will add to this position.

WUBA: Weekly looks good for higher prices. WUBA has now fought off many attempts to pull it back.  Was this past week a weekly breakout? still  to be determined.

GIMO:
somewhat similar to WUBA, Nice flag following a big move.  only 25Mill shares outstanding, volume shows interest and earnings were pretty good.

IPHI: A great push ahead this week.  RSI now over 70. MACD at  all time year highs

LGIH:  Weekly breakout has not yet held. But I bought on the push ahead intra-day prior high on this flag.  On the plus side has not broke down either.. sometime I just need a few extrudes.  (SSNI needed an extra day and then it really popped)

RSI is a touch low for my normal momo trading plays but I like the drivers for this company.

NDRM: Still playing the short side here. I want to see this fill the 11.75-12.50 gap.  but If it takes out 13.50 I'll close it down.

IPHI:

May 13- 15

My trade journal was behind.  Here's what I did on May 13  No trades since.

The S& P has broke to new highs... but  the S&P is notorious for fake breakout outs

The TNA-- Russell with 3X the fun:
After a sharp breakout 3 weeks ago the initial breakout has held on the weekly.  So was the sharp a backtest or a start to a pull back.   --- Remains to be seen.

PTBI,
Entry: $8.85
Exit: $9.30

The overnight dream order worked well again.  5 for 5

GEVO:
$5.14
Exit 1.$5.44
Exit 2: $5.23

This was an earnings pop.  I sold off 1/2 on the pre-market action.  I was hoping to sell the second half into the opening thrust.  It popped to 5.60s but quickly reversed.  The remainder of my postiion was stopped out for a small profit.

BIOC
Entry: $3.08
Sold: $2.852

 Breakout Failed again.

SSNI
Nice little base,  I was looking for the Fishhook Entry.

LGIH:
Entry: 18.12  -- It looked like the break over 18 would get us going -- didn't hold.

Still looks good on the weekly in the flag.
